Hear this- You'll Love it!

You know that 'feeling' you get- when someone's listening to your songs from your massively established music collection? Ahh.. that feeling-

'Lord... please make him/her like this song... Puleeeeeez!'

Anticipation? Excitement? Sharing of values? Buddy-ness?Well... neither of these really. It's probably as basic as just liking the song- because

'ITS SO BLOODY GOOD! I LOVE IT- AND SO SHOULD YOU'

And when they do- it's pure ecstasy! It's better than smelling fried chicken, its better than sitting on that rollercoaster, it's better than flying. I can't really stick a word to that feeling- it just feels 'Damn good'.

Of course, that NEVER happens though. Usually, this is the case with me:

'Hey! Listen to this.... yeah... Just let me forward it slightly... skip it slightly... (FACE REACTION CHANGING).... Oh wait wait- now comes the best bit... Yeah this one (IM HUMMING THE TUNE) ... Head banging.. No?... Nothing?... Really?' His/ her eyes tell the story:

'YOU LISTEN TO THIS SHIT?'

My heart breaks into a thousand different distinguishable pieces :-(. WHY?????? WHY DONT YOU LIKE IT?... I want you to- I really want you to...Wuaah...wuaaaaah!!

Anyhows, forget this childishness (Yeah...right)- and lets look at the facts- I mean how many people would actually listen to Heavy/Groove/Alternative metal? I mean lots- but none in my 'community' or circle of friends- and that's cool Because I do not like their music- so the principle is actually the same. Ah well... so much for that toss up.

You know another thing that BUGS me? (Because I love a good ranting) - is when I ask what kinda music you listen to? And they say- 'Everything... a little bit of everything'- I feel like slapping them silly with a big heavy tune of Periphery (It's a band... erm... I know)- and then they're like 'everything' BARRING this. Haha... Chicken. Puk-pukaaak.

Well, in the end we're all so different! Music is a great form of expression-And well I should be proud of my choices.

'You listen to Justin Bieber? Congratulations'

' You listen to NEYO- well done!'

'You listen to Lady Gaga?(Get outta my sight you shenanigan)..I mean wonderful ..just wonderful:-)

So sneakily- can you smell it... can you sniff it in the air? I shall give you a recommendation... ah slimey old me. (Fox... naah Werewolf actually)- I know you're not gonna listen TO it- because the possibilites are only I am reading this blog (re-reading...re-re-reading... :-()

It's SEVENDUST and It's Cold Day Memory- their newest offering- Sevendust have been with me since 2001- they've put me on this alternative metal scene and they haven't dissapointed me since. I remember the days when I jogged with a sevendust cassette playing on my walkman- I used to sweat to them- burn calories. Nowaday's I listen to them whilst eating a Mini cake roll and caressing my love handles (for some reason).

Meanwhile they got transferred on my Phone... Then my IPOD... Then my IPHONE... Basically they've been on every format possible-been there with me all these years-playing an instrumental part in my development. No wonder I've turned out like this. Enjoy- Cold Day Memory. How dare you not enjoy them?

Please?... Pretty Please? :-) I promise I'll listen to your song next- place a suggestion in comments link.
